On asking better questions
A useful question does not merely invite an answer. It changes what you notice while looking for one.
Some questions are built to confirm what we already suspect. Better ones make room for an inconvenient answer. They force us to separate what is interesting from what is true, and what is meaningful from what can actually be measured.
That is the thread running through much of this work: not collecting answers, but improving the question until the evidence has somewhere honest to land.
